We don’t generally write about DHM Design on the blog, but today is different. Today we are celebrating the life of Bud Simon, who lost his battle to cancer last week. Bud was a Principal with DHM and his career with the firm spanned over thirty years. His legacy of work was remarkable in its breadth. While he worked on many types of projects, we will remember him best for his land conservation efforts. Every day he brought a sense of commitment and dedication to his projects and his clients were devoted to him in return. He was passionate about his work and inspired a sense of integrity and loyalty always leading by example.
He touched so many lives along the way and it is a testament to his legacy how many people have called us over the last week to express their condolences. Bud was well over six foot tall with a gigantic heart. He had a great sense of humor and an ability to relate to any and all with kindness and respect. We are all better for having known and worked with him and we thank him for teaching us to be better professionals…but most of all to be better people.
We will miss you, Bud.
